Xylophone mallets

For ecological reasons, all models, supplied with thinly varnished rattan handles, have wooden heads of the composite material black hornwood.

In comparison with tropical woods customarily used for xylophone mallets, this extremely hard-wearing black hornwood gives a slightly slimmer sound.

This property lends the mallets outstanding brilliance in the louder dynamic range and an impressive clarity in the soft range.
